Website Maintenance and Care Plans: Keep your website useful after launch.

Website care combines agreed content updates with routine checks of the website we delivered, defined around your plan. Agree who requests and approves changes, what the plan includes and how work outside that allowance is scoped. Care should fit the platform and the people maintaining its content.

Brochure care

One quarterly refresh batch covering up to three existing sections: updated text, images or links within the agreed layout.

Business + Blog care

Up to two blog articles and two existing-page refreshes each month. Articles start from your base content, such as notes, a draft or subject information. AI assists with finishing and supporting imagery; a person reviews it and you approve it before publication.

Advanced care

Content allowances and technical support agreed around the features, integrations and operating needs of your website.

Routine technical care

Availability, important links and enquiry forms are checked, routine platform updates applied with backups where the hosting supports them, and reported defects fixed within the delivered scope.

Illustrative example: a care report showing checks on availability, links and forms, updates applied after a backup, defects fixed, and one item waiting on the client.

How requests work

Keep one list of requested changes, each with the page, the new material and the person who approves it. We confirm whether it fits the allowance, flag missing inputs and prepare the update for review. We acknowledge every request and confirm when it is scheduled.

What needs a separate scope?

New pages, redesigns, new features, migrations and original article research. Social media, SEO and ads are available as add-ons. External hosting and subscription charges stay with you.

What a care month looks like

At the start of each period, you send your list of changes and any article notes. We confirm what fits the allowance, prepare the updates and send them for your review. Once approved, we publish and run our routine checks. You always know what was changed and what is coming next.

Who looks after your site

Care is handled by the same team that designed and built your website, so changes keep to the approved design and nobody has to relearn your site. Requests go through one support channel agreed at onboarding.

Keeping the site secure and working

Routine checks cover availability, forms, broken links and platform updates. Where the hosting supports it, backups are taken before changes. If something breaks within the delivered scope, we fix it.

Agree how changes reach the care team

Name the person who submits updates and the person who approves them. Supply final text, approved images and the page or section affected, with a clear distinction between a correction and a new feature. Keep access credentials out of ordinary update requests. The agreed plan determines the care allowance; unused ideas do not automatically expand it. If a request changes the structure, adds functionality or needs another service, agree that scope separately before work begins. Review changes on the live page after publication, including links and mobile presentation. Keep a record of ownership for the domain, hosting and content so routine care remains manageable when people change. Backups and technical maintenance also need an agreed responsibility appropriate to the chosen platform.

FAQ

What if I do not use my full allowance?

How unused allowances are treated is set in your written engagement. Ask us to explain it before you commit.

Can I add social media or SEO to my care plan?

Yes. Social media management, ongoing SEO, and search and social ads are available as add-ons alongside care.

Is care required after launch?

Care is recommended, because websites need regular updates and checks, but the arrangement is agreed with you in the written engagement.

How quickly are care requests handled?

We acknowledge every request and confirm when it is scheduled within your care arrangement. Urgent defects are prioritised.

What counts as a page refresh?

An update to text, images or links within an existing page and design. New pages and layout changes are scoped separately.
